Dr Labrecque obtained her PhD degree from Univesity of Montreal under the supervision of Dr Rafick-Pierre Sékaly. Then, she did a post-doctoral training under the direction of Christophe Benoist and Diane Mathis, international leaders in the field of T cell biology, at the Institut de génétique et biologie moléculaire et cellulaire of Strasbourg in France. She joined the HMR Research Centre in 2000 where she is the director of a research team that aims at better understanding the molecular mechanisms controlling the response of T cells and the generation of immunological memory.
