Dr. Kathy Lui received her Bachelor and Master of Philosophy degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She then earned a full scholarship to complete her Ph.D at Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, U.K. After that, she has received Croucher Foundation Fellowship to continue her postdoctoral training at Harvard University, U.S.A. Dr. Lui is now an Assistant Professor at Department of Chemical Pathology and a principal investigator at Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences, Prince of Wales Hospital, CUHK. Her research interest focuses on immune cell mediated regeneration of the cardiovascular system. She is an appointed member of the Young Acaedmy of Sciences of Hong Kong; and an editorial member of Scientific Reports. She has published many high impact journals including Nature Biotechnology, Nature Communications, Cell Research, Cell Reports and Genome Medicine, etc.
