Anne S. Dejean (PhD) is heading a research group in the team “Inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system: mechanisms and therapy” at INSERM U1043 in Toulouse, France. She performed her post-doctoral fellowship in the team of Pr SM. Hedrick at UCSD where she studied the functions of Foxo transcription factors in immune cells. Upon returning to France, she established her group at the “Centre de Physiopathologie Toulouse Purpan” (CPTP) and was recruited as senior scientist in INSERM in 2012. Her research group main objective is to decipher the cellular and molecular mechanism whereby pathogenic properties are acquired by immune cells during inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system using both mouse models and patient samples.
