Dr. Mehrnaz Mesdaghi is an associate professor in department of immunology, school of medicine, Shahid Beheshti university of Medical Sciences. In 2002, she obtained her medical degree (MD), and in 2010 she received her PhD, both from Tehran University of medical sciences. Her field of research is primary immunodeficiency disorders and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. At a referral children hospital, she is the director of a lab, which its main scope is diagnosis of primary immunodeficiency disorders. At medical school, she is involved in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. She was secretary general of Iranian society of immunology in 2012-2018, and currently is the chair of international affairs committee of this society. She is also a member of IUIS education committee and a member of FIMSA council.
