Claude-Agnès Reynaud is head of the team “Development of the Immune system”, Institut Necker-Enfants Malades (Paris). Her long-standing interests are in molecular processes of B cell diversification, with a more recent focus on the understanding of the different effector functions of memory or innate-like B cell subsets, both in mice and humans. Since several years, she also developed new approaches of autoimmune diseases mediated by autoreactive antibodies, reporting paradoxical differentiation pathways leading to the persistence of pathogenic B effector cells, which could open new therapeutic options.
